In 2019, VIDA Campers began production of the first all-aluminum lightweight car towable pop-up campers – a starting unloaded weight of 690 lbs. Rapid growth as a Canadian trailer manufacturer, along with many requests from camper owners for a true all-aluminum lightweight travel trailer lead to another new lineup of campers.
In 2024, 6 innovative floor plans of the Refuge lightweight aluminum travel trailers were released. The VIDA Refuge travel trailers combine elegance and comfort into a small travel trailer. Starting weights at 1625 lbs, the Refuge travel trailers offer buyers a better built aluminum travel trailer – SUV towable.
Phil, Cindy and their son Blair continue to pave the way with remarkable innovation, design and quality in the trailer industry, while enjoying the practical side of camping with their own campers.

Using composite AZDEL interior panels, and 100% aluminum cabinets (pop-up campers) or PVC composite cabinetry (travel trailers) we guarantee NO WOOD, NO ROT in our campers. Other manufacturers claim they’re “all-aluminum”, but the story changes inside the camper. Our story of aluminum and composite remains true throughout.
